Jesse {bridal}

Jesse is such a sweet, sweet girl and I realized that right away when I first met her last year to talk about her summer 2013 wedding!  She mentioned that she wanted to do a bridal session at her mom’s mill.  What, a mill?!  I was so excited!  Well, we had to squeeze this mini session in between her college graduation and her moving out west to the state of  Washington.  I’m so glad that we had a bit of time to capture these gorgeous shots in her beautiful wedding dress!  And Jesse was such a natural in front of the camera….I absolutely cannot wait for her colorful country wedding next month!

First, isn’t her ring so amazing?!

Oh, how I love old buildings….

So beautiful.

Love this golden springtime light.

Jesse’s dress looked striking against the green grass and dandelions.

Jesse, see you next month at your wedding! :)

Meredith + Shawn {wedding}

As we drove in the long lane to the farm, the location of Meredith and Shawn’s wedding, our eyes beheld this most magnificent sight!  Some of you may see merely a tree, but to us, it was a lovely thing….  And as you will see later, this was the beautiful backdrop for their wedding ceremony.

You may remember Meredith’s bridal session, and it gave a little look into her vintage-styled wedding that she was planning.  I was so excited to finally see everything on their wedding day.  So here is Meredith and Shawn’s vintage-styled, bird-themed, pink and brown wedding….

Meredith’s Vera Wang dress and pretty jewelry.

The beautiful bride.

The ceremony site earlier in the day before the guests arrived.

This was beautiful.  Baroque n’ Spoke Horse and Carriage added the perfect touch of elegance to Meredith and Shawn’s wedding.

Meredith’s father walked her down the aisle and he also officiated the ceremony too.

So pretty.

The afternoon light was glowing and simply stunning.

I must include lots of “detail shots”, as everything was so amazing!

The BEST food idea ever at a wedding reception, and it was SO good!!!  Pizzeria Moto is a mobile wood fired pizza catering company and I can’t say enough good things about them!

And lots more yumminess in the form of cake, cupcakes, cookies, macaroons, and an expansive candy bar, “The Sweet Bar”.  Meredith even helped to decorate some of the goodies.

Meredith and Shawn, what a lovely day!

Weddings Unveiled Magazine — Fall 2012 Issue {published}

Look at the loveliness that I found in my mailbox earlier this week — an envelope containing copies of the Fall 2012 issue of Weddings Unveiled Magazine:  The finest resource for inspired wedding style!  Weddings Unveiled is a gorgeous magazine and we were graciously invited to advertise in their publication.  First, the beautiful cover photo by Brooke Thomas of Weddings Unveiled.

And here is our lovely ad — it turned out so well!  (We’re on page 119 and many thanks to our lovely bride, Kim!)

Go out and get a copy today, or at least take a look through their on-line magazine….So much beauty in one place!

Meredith {bridal}

Meredith’s bridal session was last month, shortly after one of those crazy snowstorms this winter!  So there was a bunch of snow on the ground (maybe 6″ or so!), but thankfully it mostly melted the day before, and the day of her session turned out to be just beautiful.  I earlier shared a sneak peek of Meredith’s session, but here is the full post.  Meredith chose to do her bridal session at an est. 1725 historic plantation home.  Meredith was formally a personal chef for the owners of the home, and she even lived there at the time.

First, one of my favorite images….I have so many favorites from this session!

Meredith’s beautiful Vera Wang dress….love the layering in the skirt.

Oh my….now these were some high heels!   Meredith bought them just for her bridal session and she informed me that she will not be wearing them for her outdoor wedding. :)

Meredith is incorporating birds into her vintage-styled wedding, so she brought along a cute little nest for a prop.

The home was gorgeous, as was Meredith too.

Yes, must take a picture with the red sofa.

Meredith’s dog, Biscuit, joined in for a few photos.

The arches and lovely colors of the home.

Then we went outside for some pictures by the house’s grand entrance.

Love these two pictures….Meredith said that one of the former owners wanted a chapel on her property, and that’s just what she got!

We went to this barn first, complete with a horse and cat.

And the veil….love the bird cage veil!

And lastly, to a second barn on the property.

So gorgeous!

Her feet were tired.  Meredith, I had so much fun during your session and I can’t wait for your and Shawn’s wedding in September!
